Why Team CATC?

The Children at the Crossroads Foundation has decided to join the race by starting an inaugural Bank of America Chicago Marathon Team. We invite supporters of CATC to lace up their running shoes and hit the pavement to run 26.2 miles and raise funds so deserving Chicago area children can study for a brighter future at The Frances Xavier Warde School.
  

Team CATC Runners receive:

  • Discounted marathon training with Coach Mark Buciak of The Road to Boston LLC..
  • Team Technical Running Shirt
  • Fundraising guidance and online tools to help you surpass your individual fundraising goal.
  • Pre-race pasta dinner
  • The opportunity to participate in fun runs, social gatherings and special events.
  • Race day amenities including private gear check, stretching and massages, food and refreshments, and meeting location for your friends and family
  • The incredible feeling of knowing that your effort and endurance will translate into a brighter future for children and families seeking an excellent academic experience at The Frances Xavier Warde School.

    Member Commitment

    We ask that each team member with a guaranteed race entry commit to raising a minimum of $1000* for CATC.
      
    *For team members who join after guaranteed slots are full (i.e. lottery registrants) the suggested fundraising commitment is $500.
